Integral health review

Review your unit 3 personal assessment of your psychological, physical, and spiritual well-being. Reflect on these areas . How did you score yourself on a scale from 1 to 10 in unit 3? How do you score yourself now? Has the score changed? Why or why not?
Review the goals and activities you set for yourself in each area. Have you made progress toward the goals? Explain.
Have you implemented the activities you chose for your well-being in each of the three areas? Explain.
Summarize your personal experience throughout this course. Have you developed improved well-being? What has been rewarding? What has been difficult? How will this experience improve your ability to assist others?

Based on my past personal assessments, I don’t believe my scores have changed much due to me consistently working towards them. Psychologically, I have maintained my goal and success of striving to engage in more relaxing activities throughout the summer and I have also strived to practice mental healing through meditation and relaxation techniques. Spiritually, I have begun attending church on Sunday’s however, due to my schedule changing and me working 3 out of 4 Sunday’s a month it is going to be hard to maintain my goal, but I will continue to work on this. Physically I have maintained my gym membership and workout more often on my cardio and have implemented days with a physical trainer each week. I don’t believe change will happen overnight but I am on the road to making adequate changes.

Through the course, I began with intentions of this course to be utilized on my job and with clients, but I have gradually changed and begun reflecting on myself and areas I need to change first. The most rewarding was being able to focus and promote relaxation through meditating and doing the other exercises, but in turn this was also the most difficult because I had to learn to relax. This will improve my ability to assist others because now I know where and how I want my life to be and I have set goals to reach. As I continue to implement and reach these goals I will be able to share these strategies and changes with others and educate them on the many benefits it brings.
